setup, print out these instruction for easy reference.

For
PPP Server Name, enter "DialUp Net."
Set your Port Speed
to the appropriate number for your modem. If you're using a 56k
modem, select "57,600". Ensure Flow Control is set for
"CTS & RTS (DTR)."
For phone number,
enter your local access number. (Don't forget to include a
*70 if you have call-waiting.) If you do not have a number, you can
connect via one of these access numbers listed below initially so
that you can find your local access number. We will tell you
how to change it later on.
San Francisco: 415-442-4600 (56k, ISDN)
Tallahassee: 850-222-5078 (56k, ISDN)
New York: 212-461-5208 (56k, ISDN)
For Modem Init,
you can use this string. If you have a Supra or Global VIllage
external modem, try "AT&F1," or leave it blank.
Click [Authentication]... |
 |
Lastly,
enter "dn/" followed by your login name and password at this screen. Remember, they
are both CaSe-SeNsItIvE.
Click [OK], then [Done],
then close your Config PPP window. Remember to restart your machine. |
|
If you have configured Open Transport
or MacTCP, you're finished. Just reboot your Mac and you
should be ready to surf. You can connect by choosing Open
from the ConfigPPP menu or by starting your internet browser. If
you have any problems or questions, contact us.
If you still need to set up
Open
Transport or MacTCP, please do so before trying to use your internet
connection.
