Configuring MacTCP
for DialUp Net Internet Services

If you need to manually enter your DialUp Net connection information, please refer to the following instructions.  If you intend to reformat your hard drive at some point in the future or configure multiple computers for the same setup, print out these instruction for easy reference.


From the Apple Menu, select Control Panels.  Double-click the MacTCP icon.

Make sure the PPP icon is highlighted.  Click the [More...] button,


Under Obtain Address, make sure the Server option is selected. 

Under Routing Information, leave the Gateway Address as 0.0.0.0.

Under Domain Name Server Information, enter in 207.76.72.4 in the first block under IP Address, and 207.76.72.5 in the second block.  Be sure and select the radio button under Default and next to the first IP Address block.

Click [OK]. You've configured MacTCP.  Now, you have to configure your PPP software.
